Is there any info on step-by-step blower motor installation on a '74 164?

David says: The factory manual for your car would only cover the original type motor. This motor was discontinued in 1981. The motor sits in the heater / AC unit crossways to the car with an impeller fan on each end of the motor (between the console and the firewall). It has been updated a few times. It is best to install the new type 4-speed motor, switch and resistor. If yours has not been updated, some drilling, filing and adding a wire from fusebox to switch is required.
